What to expect
YOU ARE INVITED TO COME AS YOU ARE AND BE COMFORTABLE
When you walk into the church you will be greeted and then handed two books. A green one entitled “The Book of Alternative Services,” and a blue one called “Common Praise,” for the traditional hymns. Accompanying these will be a bulletin which describes the flow of the service. If you should wish to be hands free the service is projected on a large screen to the left of the altar.
Everyone is welcome to the Lord’s Table to receive Communion or a blessing.
At different times during the service you will be asked to stand, sit or kneel. Do any of these as you are able and comfortable.
Right after the praise music the children are blessed, prayed for and invited to Sunday School. If children are attending for the first time, parents are welcome to join them so they can all feel comfortable. If the children would prefer to stay with their parents in church they are free to do so and can be provided with an activity to keep them occupied.
ALL CHILDREN ARE WELCOME.
There is a nursery upstairs for families to go at any time with live streaming of the service.
There is a part of the service where we are invited to share the peace. This is where we stand and extend a greeting to one another.
During the Communion members of the Healing Prayer Team will be present should you come with any concerns or thanksgivings. This takes place quietly at the back of the church.
Following the 10 a.m. service there are refreshments served in Kohner Hall, a time to welcome newcomers and visitors.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!
