Weddings
At St. Michael’s we are happy to welcome you as you plan and prepare for your wedding. We need six months to properly prepare for a wedding. Couples are asked to follow a marriage preparation program. Documents required are Baptismal certificate for at least one person, birth certificate for both and if either one is divorced, the final divorce decree.
Most weddings take place in the church, however other locations are possible as long as they maintain an atmosphere of dignity and sanctity appropriate for the administration of the sacrament of marriage.
To avoid disappointment please contact the parish priest prior to announcing a date and time.
For more information please contact the church office by phone or email.
Baptisms
We gladly welcome people who want to be baptized! Baptisms are usually performed in the context of a public worship service, generally on Sunday mornings.
We are happy to baptize people of any age from babies to adults.
There is a Baptism preparation process to discuss the meaning of Baptism, to understand the significance of the sacrament and there is a rehearsal the day prior to the Baptism. Please allow six weeks prior to the date of the Baptism
For more information please contact the church office by phone or email.
Funerals
St. Michael’s is here to help you in times of bereavement and loss. The parish priest will meet with the family or loved ones to offer support and to plan the service. Funerals can be arranged to be held in the church. We can also offer graveside services, burial or interment of ashes. The service may be held in a funeral home chapel if required.
Please contact the parish priest prior to announcing a date and time.
