The Church of Saint John the Baptist and St. Michael and All Angels are planning a joint study on Max Lucado’s latest book, “BEGIN again: Your Hope and Renewal Start Today”.
In the book’s introduction Max writes, “All Noah can see is water. He can’t remember when he’s seen anything but. For forty days it has rained and for months they have floated. For (a long time now) Noah has been wondering, How long is this going to last? They have eaten the same food, smelled the same smells, and looked at the same faces. After a certain point you run out of things to say to each other. You even begin to run low on hope. Can God re-create this world? Is he able to start over? Can he, and we, begin again? According to Max the answer is a resounding Yes! Your current circumstances will not get the final say in your life. By God’s grace you can find your way to dry land, watch the waters subside and step out on fresh soil. Your hope can be restored.
If you’d like to join this study, please email Archdeacon Michelle Eason at firstname.lastname@example.org so that you can be sent the Zoom invitation prior to May 27.
In order to fully engage in the study, it is recommended that you order the text, “BEGIN again: Your Hope and Renewal Start Today,” by Max Lucado. The paperback edition can be ordered on Amazon for 23.75 CDN or the Kindle edition for $11.99 CDN.
