The Trumpeter
The Trumpeter is the church magazine that was launched in the Fall of 2018, and is published quarterly. The primary aim of the magazine is to increase engagement among parishioners and with people outside the church. The main vehicle used to accomplish this goal is the sharing of personal stories from members of this church, community leaders and individuals outside the Church.
Everyone has a story, and we are all intricately woven together by strands of each other’s story. This is the reason that we are able to understand each other. In so doing, we are able to share in each other’s joys and empathize with each other during difficult times. This also enables us to forgive people’s weaknesses and appreciate their strengths as we travel along life’s road. Through this medium, we can learn of God’s transforming work as is evidenced in human stories. Our stories therefore, will help to lead some people to God, and to confirm His grace, goodness, love, mercy and everlasting faithfulness in our lives.
This ministry then, is one of fellowship and evangelism which is carried out through reading stories that are written in The Trumpeter.
